Tutti di formazione classica, vantano collaborazioni prestigiose, da Kenny Wheeler, Paolo Fresu, John Taylor, Bob Brookmeyer, Enrico Rava e si esibiscono regolarmente nei più importanti festival italiani e non: Umbria Jazz, Time In Jazz, London Jazz Festival, Cartagena Music Festival, Jazz Festival Saalfelden, Una Striscia di Terra Feconda, Torino Jazz Festival, Bologna Jazz Festival.
Il Quintetto Koro è un originale ensemble di fiati che suona il jazz con raffinatezza, attenzione ai particolari e grande amore per lo swing.
Il repertorio è dedicato alla musica di Thelonious Monk e arrangiato da Cristiano Arcelli.
The quintet is composed of some of the most interesting and established Italian jazz musicians.
